Practicing CIA

Non-practicing CIA

CIA Grace and Revoked Status

Failing to renew a CIA certification by December 31 results in a status change from Active to Grace. While in Grace status, credential holders must observe specific limitations and complete necessary steps to regain active status:

• Do not display the CIA designation after your name.
• Refrain from representing yourself as actively certified.
