Suman Mander, CPA (CA) is the Director of Content Operations at LumiQ. Prior to joining LumiQ, Suman was an Assurance Manager at Ernst and Young in Toronto. During her time at EY, Suman worked on financial statement audit projects for several multinational public companies, focusing on the manufacturing and power and utilities sectors. She has experience with several complex accounting matters such as SOX reporting, business acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.

Omar Roubi, CPA is currently the Principal, Education & Content at LumiQ. Prior to joining LumiQ, Omar was a full-time accounting faculty member at University of Colorado Denver and Brock University. During his academic career, Omar taught a wide range of accounting courses including financial and managerial accounting at the introductory level, intermediate financial reporting, intermediate and advanced cost accounting, both US and Canadian taxation, as well as accounting theory. In addition to his full-time duties, Omar was also a sessional instructor at McMaster University, York University, and Ryerson University, wrote a managerial accounting textbook entitled “Managerial Accounting: Enhancing Decision Making” and was named the Goodman School of Business at Brock University Undergraduate Professor of the Year.

Before his academic career, Omar graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s of Science in accounting and Master’s of Science in US Taxation. He worked for the tax group at Grant Thornton, LLP’s Dallas office before moving to the corporate tax compliance group at Rent-A-Center’s headquarters in Plano, TX. He obtained his US CPA designation in 2011.

Danielle Marion is the Regulatory Compliance Manager at LumiQ, where she oversees regulatory compliance risk across the company’s product, content, operations, and client teams. In addition to her primary responsibilities, Danielle investigates, interprets, and editorially assesses regulatory guidance pertaining to CPAs, and other accounting and finance professionals’ continuing professional education requirements. Danielle brings more than two decades of experience in regulatory compliance, ethics, and professional education governance. Prior to joining LumiQ, she held senior leadership roles at Deloitte, including Managing Director in Risk & Brand Protection and Senior Manager in Ethics & Compliance.
